How much to build 300whp B-series NA machine?

300whp is very high for B-Series..

You need lots of $$$ to build one reliabily.

For your info, last week MSS race meet one guy who spend RM60-70k on his B18C5 engine alone to get 265whp!!

So 300whp, you can work your maths..

to add further, B-Series to hit 200whp with reliability is a quite a task already and will cost you in tens of thousand already.

Cheapest way people are doing to get above 200whp is to use B20 block. U should get just above 200whp at a relatively low rev like 7800rpm but with high torque like 155ftlb-165ftlb.

yes, just like what i posted. Mods on engine alone to make it 265whp!!

Not considering his full close gear ratio 1st to 5th gear, Final drive, LSD, super single clutch, N1 suspension and brand new Volks CE28!! Here alone another RM30k!!

I don't think CRV block can stand this... As I heard from a JB foreman last week, their 300whp vtec project is on the way. Using 89mm piston and custom block from US. Just empty block alone can cost u a halfcut. Their another Vtec turbo project is aiming for 500whp. I don want to mention the name of the workshop.
