people can always inquire about it. people can buy it if they have the cash. haha. unfortunately i dont.

trying to sell my stock type-r exhaust to singaporeans now to raise the money!

they want it because the type-r exhaust is legal over there... and its a good upgrade for the GSRs...

Its ok nukes hasukyo's was not destined for u. Just wait for someone else to sell theirs off loh

congrats hasukyo, so what's your next mod hehe

good for hill climb. go genting more often.

nahh its cool bro. like i said... if someone has the money... you'd better sell it off asap because i dont know when i can come up with the extra cash... :)

just have to save up now and see what comes up. if worse comes to worst no one sells their TODA...and Singapore has no one de-kitting...then i guess i might opt for the replicas @ Everco.

Become guinea pig lor what else...:biggrin:

eh. i have a question related back to headers again....

if lets say i go with the kiddracing headers --> 2.5" collector... can i reuse my Fujitsubo RM01A catback --> 2.36" piping? It will bolt up right without any modifications?

i dont wanna cut my RM01A piping to make anything fit because i paid a good amount of money and drove all the way to SG for it...

You may use your piping back but i think there's a little mod needs to be done to fit the collector to your piping. Small matter nevertheless. Don't worry to much about the restrictiveness as exhaust flow are much better with the header. One day you'll need to go with bigger pipings tho. :)

eh? what kind of "LITTLE MOD" are we talking about? i dont want to cut the piping at all...

no point la pay so much and they dont just bolt up properly...instead need to cut and de-value the whole system. :(

Of course they don't bolt up properly...just do a new straightflow piping system from the new header to the back. So, you can keep your current midpipe in your storeroom. It's a small matter... coz most important thing you get your new header and your muffler eventhough your muffler is smaller in diameter. This set-up you don't need the centre box.

Depending on your exhaust piping it might need to be cut and rewelded so that the header collector can fit. Based on Boulala's Buddy Club exhaust system, he needs to mod the pipe to fit the header on. Not sure about Hasukyo's custom piping tho. Since buying the expensive well known brand headers are out of the story, I guess the little mod to get things perfect won't hurt. After all, playing your car as a hobby will involve 'modification' on almost everything. :P

sniff. but i paid RM1,500 for the catback and muffler... now half of it will go to waste and i need to spend more to get piping done.

oh well. kiddracings out of the question too then! back to the search for used TODA for me!

or lets see if the EVERCO TODA replicas are EXACT replicas and can bolt up...

The reasons are aplenty on why people are selling their aftermarket exhaust system and go for custom setting. :)

Why, 250whp is still insufficient ke? :adore::adore:

yo prasath, put ur acceleration video bro, i wanna see how 250whp powaaaaa...or maybe ur dyno chart.

The world is full of compromises, even in the modding world! No such thing as a cheap and easy mod giving u wonder whp gains... lagi-lagi the n/a world... something, somewhere gotta give way...

Guys , i could get the Super Circuit Extractor for 1.45k without installation. Pm me if anyone interested. I going to install mine soon :D

eh,guys...can i ask sumthg..prolly sound a lil stewpik but i dun own a Type R Kseries(my K24 Accord n K20 CR-V x kira lar!) but wat's w d 2.36" piping?n make it sound like so precious?
shudn't a K20 Type R run @ least 2.5" piping?i'm still only running a B16B b dat also my mechanic scolded me whn i was planning on a 2.3" piping 2 get more back pressure.....plus my tuner even told me w my set up,d hell w a 2.3" piping..it's either 2.5" or he won tune my car!n he was right..i got kicimiau whp w d 2.3" piping...only w d 2.5" altho el-cheapo mandrel-bent pipes.....i sorta got d figure i was looking for.....almost on par w a K20 Type R.
heck,now only i remember,even whn i was driving an auto B16A,i was already running a 2.5" RS*R exos system......work wonders 4 d car....so,again,y a 2.3"???....
can sum1 enlighten mua?

Juz wnt to share my opinion, if u manage to get the 2.5" to 2.36" diameter, the mechanic will get a new flange to fix the 2.5" flange which then they will customize new straight flow reducer pipe and weld it to 2.36 inch.:smokin:

sure you can always go with custom setups. you probably pay less, and get the most hp out of them as well...

but again...its back to personal preference...

you can always go to the tailor and have a pair of pants TAILORED to your body shape and cutting.... but why do people pay good money for branded goods? quality maybe? material maybe? design maybe? all the above?

with custom setups you can never be ASSURED of the HP gains (i've even heard freak stories of HP loss)... and more importantly (to me especially)... the final sound the exhaust produces... just like when you go to the tailor... he can take ALL your measurements, and do ALL the drawings... but how sure are you the final product will fit perfectly and you'll like how it looks?

with bolt on catbacks like the RM01A or TODA or whatever... the sound clips on youtube are abundant. so you know EXACTLY what you're getting... which is important to me.

i'm not someone with hundreds of thousands of dollars to throw into "trial & error"... so at the end of the day... i'd rather be assured with what im getting before purchasing it.

most reputable exhaust makers produce catback systems in 2.36" piping size... it might not make the MOST power... but i'm assured that there will be gains...

i've gotten +15WHP from an AEM V2 intake and a RM01A catback. I spent RM2k to get both...

sure you can probably get a similar setup done locally for RM1,200... and even have 2.5" exhaust piping.... but to each his own i say.... i'm happy with my power gains.... and even happier that i got EXACTLY what i paid for...
