gearbox problem..........

I m driving a civic 97 4 door(SO4).it a nice car but my gearbox(a) got problem 2week ago,and now the problem is more bad :( ,can u guys tell me where can i fix it?or just change the gearbox?how much is it? :huh:

i also think just change the engine(B16A complete halfcut) :rolleyes: .has the engine got auto ah?how much ?its that expensive? :unsure:

pls give me some opinion,TQ. :)

my gearbox is auto one and the problem is the gear not change after second gear.....just the sound.......no more power ........when morning is no problem after the engine is hot the problem is come.is bad now................... :( :( :( :(

huaaaahhhhh.... damn nice car but still on sohc vtec? i think better don't waste time debugging it. get a b series half cut straight if your budget allows. u'll love it.

Seriously the auto gearbox of local EJ6, 7 and 8 sucks big time. Even it doesn't come with this problem, the gearbox jerks a lot when gear shifting from the 1st three gears.

The best price you can get for AT B16A from EK these days is 5K to 6K without installation included.

if EG6 B16A AT u can get around 3.5K - 4K only.
But probably the mounting need adjustment.

your car very nice honestly, and looks very familiar. same as one of our friends car.

anyway, b16a AT gearbox also not very nice, my gf's bro driving, the gb also gave some problem recently. and the power...... no kick.

are u using the car 90% town driving? if yes then no choice, if no, why not try a manual engine? not to race, but it's better and less maintenance (i think)
