gearbox change.

currently using auto gearbox.
going faulty.
fried clutch plate or sumthing.
thinking of changing to manual.
any problems or advice regarding gearbox change?

pros
- better FC
- better performance
- much more lasting
- easier to service.

cons
- cramp during jam if using 4 or 6puck clutch plate haha...
- wife or gf complaint.

anyways, must as well save up abit & get b16a manual halfcut.

so, prolly gona use my existing engine, change to manual.

i heard from a friend if want to change to manual,
need also change the engine?
is this right or wrong?
i think only gearbox need to change right?
a gearbox compatible with the engine,
then clutch pump, and pedals.
that is all right?

no need 2 change d engine, just change the gearbox, clutch plate etc.
add one more pedal need to drill one more lubang beside brake pedal
can keep same ecu, but better change to manual one, or not get e-manage i think

auto to manual conversion needs to change gearbox only(try to find complete set incl. pedal,flywheel,gear console+lever/shifter,if using cable also clutch cable,replace new clutch lining+cover,gear oil.....if got extra rechip ecu,change meter
done for my bro's eg8 cost around rm2k++ pricing for kch area
