A standard fuel filter will last about 50,000.Another option is to get the washable fuel filter like from aeromotive(inline) or aem(can type) which you could take out the filter and wash.Furthermore,don't have to worry whether the fuel filter is clogged or anything..but the both this item is pricey. ;)
