is a small 2,000sq.ft. niche audio company owned by Michael Ng and Victor Pheh since early 2006. Our demo and showroom studio is located in the new and upcoming covered boulevard NZX Commercial Centre, near the LRT hub and headquarters in Ara Damasara. Why van den hul?
Go Dutch! Okay, nothing of that sort. Van den Hul (VDH) is a dutch company that has been around for over 20years. The company began operations with a main objective, which still stands today to improve the quality of both phono-transfer and the quality of signal transmission in a broad sense.
Over the years, the company continues to apply new unique techniques, solutions and state-of-the-art technology based on their inventions, findings and listening experiences. This experience is gained taking into account the consumers expectations, which include audio industry and professionals in the recording industry.
Selecting cables may seem like a basic task, but it is by no means simple. Cable companies are widespread and plenty. Many having to prove themselves as not being labelled ”snake-oil”. Snake oil meaning worthless (just like various liquid that are sold as medicine but medically worthless).
Cables themselves look like snakes and some makers make it so enticing by sleeving them into plastic snake skin jackets and thick rubber hoses. Therefore, when selecting cables it is best to focus on performance gains, towards a specific goal and take the looks with a pinch of salt.

JL Audio Subwoofers
JL Audio advertisements in the local and foreign magazines never fail to impress me. It is often featured with r&b celebrities etc. At first glance, it is just another good looking subwoofer in the sea of subwoofers available in the market place. Then we started experimenting with JL Audio subwoofers in our own rides and in customer’s rides using various enclosure configurations in varying vehicle dimension (small-large) and shapes (convertibles-hatchback-sedans-MPVs).
It is by far the most linear sounding subwoofer we have used in our installs. It sounds great at low volumes, medium, high and insane volumes with very good dynamic range. Rich sounding, hits hard when required and is not lazy sounding nor quick and lightweight sounding like aluminium ones. There are some monstrous subs that may sound louder but subwoofer to us is not entirely about how loud it can go. It needs to sound good and not be intrusive or missing at low volumes. Most importantly, to achieve the desired lows, we feel that subwoofers must be fed with the right signal in the first place to harness the best out of them. At Audio Creations, we know how to condition the signal that is fed to your speakers, and in this context in particular, to the ultra-low transducers – subwoofer. Power itself is not the only factor.
JL Audio subwoofers are well engineered and we rate its performance simpy as ’low distortion’. It doesn’t give us any more loudness or lows that we really need or lack of any. It gives bass a good foundation!! Hard to fault. Bass delivered is clean, powerful and unobtrusive. It may not be the most accurate sounding subwoofer I have encountered over 12 years but it doesn’t colour the sound in any way. It just blends in well with a tuned front stage. Many subs simply cannot keep up with the front. There were numerous cases we found their 8 or 10s sound better than many 12 inchers.
We like JL Audio. The company takes the trouble to make sure the product line improves and improves further over time with newer models. Look at the amount of new patents that go into their designs. Well, okay it may be a little commercialized but it sure doesn’t look bogus. By the way, check out their Phantom subwoofers for home audio and home theatres. Clearly tells us they are serious about subwoofers and not just another over commercialized brand name. It is rugged enough for our installs; built quality is good and most importantly they sound great and does not break your wallet.
Furthermore, the documentation between the website, http://www.jlaudio.com, and the owner’s manual is one of the best most of us have ever seen. Not only did the owner’s manual provided technical information, it has well-illustrated enclosure recommendations and an easy to understand power handling reference chart. In you are building your system for Loud Sound Quality in mind… Go linear sounding, Go JL Audio!

Bewith R60A is a voltage regulator. its job is to stabilized power supply to amps, HU, processor and etc.
when the car audio systems is turn on, not only voltage is drawn from the battery/alternator to car audio equipments but all the electronics in the car is pulling voltage also. hence car audio equipments will NOT get a constant voltage but a fluctuations, deteriorating the sound quality. to prevent this, a stabilized power supply is needed.

What's Cryogenic?
Cryogenics is the production of low temperatures or the study of low-temperature phenomena.
Deep cryogenic (freezing) treatment, or DCT refer to cooling, holding and allowing a product to return to ambient temperature over a period of time with the use of liquid Nitrogen, or LN2, as the cryogen.
DCT has been around for many years and is widely adopted in the industrial sector for treatment of tool steels, knives, etc., as it improves the wear characteristics of these items. Cryogenics is also widely adopted by auto racers—who are always looking for a performance edge over their competition.
For this purpose, we refer to DCT of audio equipment. DCT as applied to audio is, in the grand scheme of things, a relatively new application, showing great promise as a tool to enhance ones enjoyment of high performance audio systems.
We are interested on how this process would affect audio gear, especially receptacles, ends and cabling. As a distributor for Audio Magic cables, we know how highly it benefits from the difference that DCT made on their cables and power conditioners.
Benefits of Cryogenic?
Research indicated that changes occur in the microstructure of metal as a result of deep cryogenic treatment. These desirable changes are why many knife and sword makers use this process as it gives metal a more uniform hardness and greater dimensional stability, due to the conversion of austenite (large unstable particles of carbon carbide, resulting in a large grained lattice structure) to martensite (fine grained lattice structure). Although swords have nothing much to do with audio... but the same basic principles apply.
When Copper, Silver, or Brass, or any metal used in audio, is formed into cables or plugs, the materials develop residual stress. For example, microscopic examination of the Copper in an powercord would reveal many voids in the crystal lattice structure of the Copper due to these residual stresses. Deep cryogenic treatment works at the atomic level; research indicates that as the temperature decreases the atomic bonds start to weaken and the crystal structure of Copper reverts to its original state and removes these stresses. These changes, theoretically, are one of the reasons why cryogenic treatment makes a positive difference to the sound.
As cryogenic treatment of audio parts, in the grand scheme of things, has not been around very long no one completely understands the mechanisms involved as to why it makes a difference in sound. As cryogenic treatment becomes more widespread in the audio industry, the application is being used by many high end manufacturers.
The difference it makes, as quoted by the experts:
-More inner detail, especially in the upper midrange
-Much smoother presentation—with more detail
-A more "relaxed" presentation, or a sense of "ease" in the presentation
-Vocal seems to have more energy to it
The own test on our rig found the music more presentable, calmer, quieter background, thus giving the music better space and smoothness.
Retailed at RM120 per piece, we now offer it at an introductory RM80 a piece for the first 100 units. It's a no brainer, don't need to think, grab them. The cryo'ed fuse has all the hifi qualities that you dream of at a fraction of the price of changing interconnects/speaker cables.

Go Dutch! Okay, nothing of that sort. Van den Hul (VDH) is a dutch company that has been around for over 20years. The company began operations with a main objective, which still stands today to improve the quality of both phono-transfer and the quality of signal transmission in a broad sense.

JL Audio Subwoofers
JL Audio advertisements in the local and foreign magazines never fail to impress me. It is often featured with r&b celebrities etc. At first glance, it is just another good looking subwoofer in the sea of subwoofers available in the market place. Then we started experimenting with JL Audio subwoofers in our own rides and in customer’s rides using various enclosure configurations in varying vehicle dimension (small-large) and shapes (convertibles-hatchback-sedans-MPVs).
It is by far the most linear sounding subwoofer we have used in our installs. It sounds great at low volumes, medium, high and insane volumes with very good dynamic range. Rich sounding, hits hard when required and is not lazy sounding nor quick and lightweight sounding like aluminium ones. There are some monstrous subs that may sound louder but subwoofer to us is not entirely about how loud it can go. It needs to sound good and not be intrusive or missing at low volumes. Most importantly, to achieve the desired lows, we feel that subwoofers must be fed with the right signal in the first place to harness the best out of them. At Audio Creations, we know how to condition the signal that is fed to your speakers, and in this context in particular, to the ultra-low transducers – subwoofer. Power itself is not the only factor.
JL Audio subwoofers are well engineered and we rate its performance simpy as ’low distortion’. It doesn’t give us any more loudness or lows that we really need or lack of any. It gives bass a good foundation!! Hard to fault. Bass delivered is clean, powerful and unobtrusive. It may not be the most accurate sounding subwoofer I have encountered over 12 years but it doesn’t colour the sound in any way. It just blends in well with a tuned front stage. Many subs simply cannot keep up with the front. There were numerous cases we found their 8 or 10s sound better than many 12 inchers.
We like JL Audio. The company takes the trouble to make sure the product line improves and improves further over time with newer models. Look at the amount of new patents that go into their designs. Well, okay it may be a little commercialized but it sure doesn’t look bogus. By the way, check out their Phantom subwoofers for home audio and home theatres. Clearly tells us they are serious about subwoofers and not just another over commercialized brand name. It is rugged enough for our installs; built quality is good and most importantly they sound great and does not break your wallet.
Furthermore, the documentation between the website, http://www.jlaudio.com, and the owner’s manual is one of the best most of us have ever seen. Not only did the owner’s manual provided technical information, it has well-illustrated enclosure recommendations and an easy to understand power handling reference chart. In you are building your system for Loud Sound Quality in mind… Go linear sounding, Go JL Audio!

when the car audio systems is turn on, not only voltage is drawn from the battery/alternator to car audio equipments but all the electronics in the car is pulling voltage also. hence car audio equipments will NOT get a constant voltage but a fluctuations, deteriorating the sound quality. to prevent this, a stabilized power supply is needed.

What's Cryogenic?
Cryogenics is the production of low temperatures or the study of low-temperature phenomena.
Deep cryogenic (freezing) treatment, or DCT refer to cooling, holding and allowing a product to return to ambient temperature over a period of time with the use of liquid Nitrogen, or LN2, as the cryogen.
DCT has been around for many years and is widely adopted in the industrial sector for treatment of tool steels, knives, etc., as it improves the wear characteristics of these items. Cryogenics is also widely adopted by auto racers—who are always looking for a performance edge over their competition.
For this purpose, we refer to DCT of audio equipment. DCT as applied to audio is, in the grand scheme of things, a relatively new application, showing great promise as a tool to enhance ones enjoyment of high performance audio systems.
We are interested on how this process would affect audio gear, especially receptacles, ends and cabling. As a distributor for Audio Magic cables, we know how highly it benefits from the difference that DCT made on their cables and power conditioners.
Benefits of Cryogenic?
Research indicated that changes occur in the microstructure of metal as a result of deep cryogenic treatment. These desirable changes are why many knife and sword makers use this process as it gives metal a more uniform hardness and greater dimensional stability, due to the conversion of austenite (large unstable particles of carbon carbide, resulting in a large grained lattice structure) to martensite (fine grained lattice structure). Although swords have nothing much to do with audio... but the same basic principles apply.
When Copper, Silver, or Brass, or any metal used in audio, is formed into cables or plugs, the materials develop residual stress. For example, microscopic examination of the Copper in an powercord would reveal many voids in the crystal lattice structure of the Copper due to these residual stresses. Deep cryogenic treatment works at the atomic level; research indicates that as the temperature decreases the atomic bonds start to weaken and the crystal structure of Copper reverts to its original state and removes these stresses. These changes, theoretically, are one of the reasons why cryogenic treatment makes a positive difference to the sound.
As cryogenic treatment of audio parts, in the grand scheme of things, has not been around very long no one completely understands the mechanisms involved as to why it makes a difference in sound. As cryogenic treatment becomes more widespread in the audio industry, the application is being used by many high end manufacturers.
The difference it makes, as quoted by the experts:
-More inner detail, especially in the upper midrange
-Much smoother presentation—with more detail
-A more "relaxed" presentation, or a sense of "ease" in the presentation
-Vocal seems to have more energy to it
The own test on our rig found the music more presentable, calmer, quieter background, thus giving the music better space and smoothness.
Retailed at RM120 per piece, we now offer it at an introductory RM80 a piece for the first 100 units. It's a no brainer, don't need to think, grab them. The cryo'ed fuse has all the hifi qualities that you dream of at a fraction of the price of changing interconnects/speaker cables.
