i think you can cause your ecu and ek9 uses OBD2 ...

but the maps should be different...don't really know if there will be any performance gains or loss...

maybe some sifu's can share...

Both are EKs............. BUT
OBD2 has 2 version OBD2A(<1999) and OBD2B(>1999).
So get the one(PCT) matching your socket.

Performances? Rev cut/speed cut will still be there .... unless you manage to get a PCT that
is already "chipped". Other fuel/timing map... a liitle diff.

Popular option... OBD2-->OBD1 convertion harness
Plug and play EG (p30/p08 chipped) ecu (many types of chip choice)
Fine tune with VAFC2 or e-manage.

Got extra money? Hondata/chrome..

A South Florida owner of a brand new 2008 Volkswagen R32 Golf walked out of work and found that his car, which had been turned off and parked for six hours, had set itself on fire. The flames started in the driver's side dash, grew to the door and roof, and melted a hole in the windshield. According to the thread, this isn't the first R32 to do so either. Can you smell a recall coming, or is that just the smoke...
