haha..oic
but nowaday even got more experience also cannot quote so high price. because now have lot tuner come out, not like lasttime very less tuner.

But if popular, many people look for him sure up price loh......:smokin:

u actually have few other options. there panjang, JC sunway, AE tuning, Ryzzal (putra height), Sideq (JB)..

ya, thanks your advice.
i saw JC post out the service for ecu remap is 500 something include dyno test.

yeah.. JC price quite cheap since including dyno. but you cannot expect too much from JC's tune map. unless they do custom map + touch up afterwards.

remap is not custom tune?

There is pre-tuned mapping from tuning house such as Ralliart, Tomei etc.. These pre-tune mapping were luckily retreived from original ECU by Reflash tuner once doing a custom mapping due to major engine upgrades. Its originally tuned for stock td04 turbo. other than these are all custom mapping or sometimes touch-up to the pre-tune maps..

not necessarily a custom tune...

loading a pre-tuned map also called remap...

any map change from stock map is a remap/reflash.....

:driver:

if loading a pre-tuned map, is it confirm can match with our modify, example add boost controller.

means if we not heavy modify, so no need to custom tuned? just remap it only?

yup. if your trek is pure stock, u can just remap. but not all tuner has the pre-tune map. so most of general reflash tuner might just touch-up the original stock mapping to suit the engine. but im no expert on thing thing, just sharing what i learn from other guy. what ever it is better get infos from tuner itself.

mys can say is stock la, i just do decat, add boost controller, spark plug, K&N filter, oil catch tank.

yes definitely.. best setup for stock is 2.5" pipes with 2.5" inlet s-flow muffler or straight flow muffler for loud sound..

but it all depends if you really need that power or not.. if you like the stock sound and hate noise, u dont have to change the muffler.

use straight flow muffler.

straight flow muffler is good for top rpm power and normally loud sound depends on model.

but airtrek have limited space between the exhaust tip location and rear tyre. so if the muffler too long it will rub with the tyre or you have to slightly diagonal to clear..

if hate the noise just change the pipe remain the original muffler?
S-flow also will loud sound?

change pipe, stock muffler also can.. stock muffler really quite. s-flow muffler normally not loud but got sporty sound. only certain s-flow really loud such as tanabe or kakimoto..
