Hello Experts,

Is it recommended to have horsepower gain by remapping the ecu or adding a compressor or turbo?
I reckon it is faster, cheaper, less hassle and safer to remap. Care to share your views on this?

IMO, remapping just improving the characteristics of the engine and improve its' drivability only. u won't gain MASSIVE HP and usually the driver itself will really feel the difference (except for fuel economy? maybe yes maybe no). they might end up in disappointment. Not sure whether Vios' ECU can be remapped or not... maybe levin818 can shed some lights here.

compressor? mini turbo? surbo? whatever -bo. pls stay away from there. there has been a lot of discussion on these gimmicks already. go look it up and understand from users' feedbacks.

TURBO is the way!! hahaha

What happens if just make the injector spray more gas into the cylinder and adjust more air into the chamber for the proper composition for ignition?

I wonder what is the max I can just adjust for Vios without compressor or turbo?

any idea why compressor is not preferred over a turbo on vios?

Nice day yall.

stock ecu mapping should have more than enough fuel. if u saja wana add more fuel to your stock engine, u are just harming the environment and wasting your money.

if it's a REAL compressor (eg. supercharger) then thumbs up! other than that, don't even bother. just my 2 cents.

supercharger or turbo... is a choice, coz both effective at different rpm depends on setup...
best if you know your needs...
google...:hmmmm:
