SiS 630ST Chipset
A SiS 630ST chipset is installed in the A900. This chipset has a 3D graphics engine and AC97 controller built-in. It also supports 3D glasses for gaming, and supports shared memory up to 64MB.

SDRAM Memory
For memory storage, the A900 is equipped with 128MB of SDRAM, upgradeable to a maximum of 512MB. That’s more than enough support for basic computer functions and most standard software programs.

A Dependable Hard Drive
The A900 comes ably equipped with a dependable 10GB hard drive. That’s adequate storage capacity for plenty of essential office software programs and important data.

System Expansion, Connectivity and Communication
USB 2.0 and LAN
The A900 is loaded with four USB 2.0 ports for devices such as card readers, PDAs, mobile phones and digital cameras. There is also a built-in 56K modem and LAN adapter for web surfing and accessing e-mail.

The A900 as a Home Entertainment System
In addition to being the ideal computer product for work applications, the A900 can also act as a home entertainment system. It comes with a 14.1” XGA TFT-LCD screen with 1024 x 768 resolution. There is also an optional DVD ROM module available that makes the A900 even more adaptable for leisure purposes at home.

Heat Dissipation
To keep temperatures down, there are numerous vents, an aluminum heat sink and a cooling fan. The unit’s form factor and external location of the battery also assist to minimize the internal temperature.
