Im currently using the newly launch Alpine 9861 that can play DVD audio/video.
The reason of getting the all in one monitor is, I dont feel like having too much cable runing all over my car. If I can get a 10"wide screen just the monitor for around RM500++. I don't really mind consider. (not too "paria" brand lo)

convict: im really sorry..for that price u cant get any 10inch monitor in the market. Distributor price also around 800++ already.. I can get one for u for around 900 but i can be sure the picture quality is superb and the design it not bad too.

but 10" roof mount quite expensive worrr even chicken brand....snailpower selling consinder cheap for 7 " coz i did survey, atleast 7 " price the cheapo is Rm1K...

When u say no confidence... I had an similar experience with a indash LCD monitor I bought from Brothers sometime ago.

After using for a year, one day it suddenly it fused and a lot of smoke came out of it. Gave everybody in the car a fright, so I switched the engine off and removed the entire unit for fear of the car catching fire.

A week later, I sent my Indash Monitor for repair at Brothers, and after 8 months it was never repaired. In the end, the offered me RM100 for compensation as a form of trade-in.

In the end, I lost confidence in Brothers Product.

I rather spend more money to buy something outside. Well at least if there is something wrong with it i can go straight to the shop and ask the people to fix it for me. are those amps suitable for SQ ? i dont like bass kicks... i prefer clear sound n vocal...

lou-key : Actually all those are not cheap amps but it depends on how u want it to be. For example alpine amp...its not to say very high end but neither its low end. If u dont expect much on the SQ wise then u can go for alpine. For others like a/d/s/, helix, xetec and etc, those are high quality amps and it produce SQ. But different amps produce different type's of sound. U may like this type of sound but others might not.

Maybe just to share with you about my experience about on how I got suck into high-end stuff.

At first..I was very happy with my MBQ PSD213 comp.. HU Kenwood 2din come standard with the car...Marcom Amp had been using it for years and a active subwoofer 6" under my car seat. Until one day my old friend came along and sat in his car with almost full alpine set-up...runing 3way comp somemore(NOT F1)..from then on all hell broke loose...So started doing alot of research and reading about carhifi stuff. and ended up with Dynaudio MK2, and a/d/s P2110. The SQ really improve like 80%.
It didn't stop there..the poison it just too great....when on and bought a monster amp the TRU-Tech T03 4X150W... and dum my active sub and up grade to Helix W12 competition and used my a/d/s amp to drive it...New HU the newly launch Alpine 9861 play DVD audio...and wala...the SQ improve only like 15%.

Well..what im trying to say here is..If you upgrade yr system from 1K+ to 5K+...the difference is huge..but if it going any higher like 8k or more...is very subjective...some 5k+ set-up with proper tuning it can sound better then a 10k set-up.

So...do more research and read more to find out what u really looking for.
