Does using Premix clog up the fuel pump and filter?

Hi, may I know if anyone here who are using Premix or 2T oil in their fuel for their RE? Have u experienced any fuel starvation due to clogged fuel pump or fuel filter?

According to the posting from another forum, a couple of RX-8 owners found their fuel pump clogged after using Premix.

Any opinion on this issue?

I'm pretty sure it does which is why i replace the fuel filter every year. the only reason i premix is because i once found the oil feed line going to the front rotor dislodge and dumping oil on the housing and not into the engine.

with that being said, the quantity of oil used should matter and not the case of "more the better"

i dun use premix...... the possibility of clogging the fuel pump/filter and sludge forming in the fuel tank is very real......
