Difference between Turbo (oem, vs aftermatket)

Hi guys,

As per above topic, what is the difference between an oem GT25 and an aftermarket GT25(2560 for example)? Is it true that the oem ones cannot take more than 1bar of boost?

I am planning to go for either one of these used ones which are oem, or a brand new one from garrett to be fitted into a Toyota Starlet 4efte, planning to go 2bar.

Another question is, how come those guys in UK run at 2bar, around the choke/surge line of the comp map without getting worried about blowing the turbine up?
