Changing number plate possible?

You know, i've been wondering if it is possible to change an existing number plate to another number plate?

Let say that i just bought a 2nd hand car that has a registration of WA 2312 and i am not happy with this plate. Is it possible to change an existing number plate to the latest (WPS 1234) or any number plate that has been covered on the road?

i changed mine, but bear in mind, are u willing to fork out 3k to the runner to change it?

can be done....need $ because the old plate number will be used on a new bike and need puspakom test b4 the swap. erm...if ur car is modded then need extra $$

the new number u want to put in the current car must be un-registered B4 ie new running/tendered no. then ur existing no have to be transfered to another unregistered vehicle usually motorbike by virtue to get a new bike is cheaper.
but all in all its involves merely a big amount. unless ur new number is a nice number then i would say its a worth transfering job.

but swapping numbers among 2 cars which has been registered can't be done, i.e car A taking car B number & vice versa

yup..1 number have to be unregistered & the other existing..

Both vehicle have to be under the same owner's name as well for the
inter change..

this one must source around 1st, try to ask bike shop, the price varies hugely. the cheapest around RM1k can get it done. :regular_smile:
