Cefiro Club

Hello all cefiro taiko,

It was very nice drive compare to my previous car mit airtrek turbo. and cheap too... that the most important things.so far I m very happy with it..what a worth buy.

speedkill... i thought mit airtrek turbo is really a fun and powerful car to drive?? the price really did not drop much for the past few year.

I have hold it for 2.5 years, bought it at 116k, sold it at 86k so lost bout 30k...(already paid my new cefiro..heheh) not plus the upgrade yet.. :banghead:
so interm of power it do have some power coz drove by evo7 engine but with the heavy chasis, it is quite ok only..not so fast. I have lost to 1.6 vtec @ 1 time...I think cefiro 3.0 faster.. handling is not so bad, u sit higher than car..but with 2.0 engine when u push for >180kmh all the way dont think it will last.. so there is pro and cons. Anyway It is not fair to compare suv and car...

rgds.:driver:

well, definitely i am not comparing cefiro with airtrek.

i was actually drooling for one before i got my cefiro..... but price is around 115k..... no drop in price over 2 years of my searching.....

why u gave up ur airtrek?

Why I gave up? I love airtrek...definately good looking suv and a head turner...anyway good question.. :)..
1. High installment - No doubt I can afford it but after pay it for 2.5 year than i realise there is much more things you can do with that amount of money. Sometime u even think car is only brings u from point A to point B...but either go it with style or... hehehe..
2. Cut cost- current situation is better to do something. with this cefiro no more monthly payment. only pay for the gas and of course road tax..hehe
3. FC is a bit higher compare to cefiro..but that is not main reason..
4. Other than that just gatal..:stupid:

Hope this justified..hehehe:biggrin:

Speedkill69, year 2000 with $28K very good price!.... Any photo? can post it? Where did u see selling $28K? In this forum?

Ok here is the fotos, just my luck i guess..go around at butterwoth use car dealer and found it...see new vip 18" replacing 15" stock..hehe

speedkill.... same feeling here, wonder why spend so much money on car where we jsut stay average less than 2hours in car daily... but sometime really cant stop the gatal hand.

nice cefiro u have there.... good chasis for VIP.

enjoy ur ride. :driver:

Thanks vk9,

so far found nothing wrong with the cefiro....yet. hopefully nothing..enjoy it so much now..
but after changed to bigger wheel, fc did reduce a little...could be more heavy or bigger wheel translate less km...mean with smaller wheel if cruising at 100kmh it could be 80kmh only with bigger wheel. I think the effect is combination of both.

cheers...:driver:

Gab adjustable ? Bumpy or not?

Yes, The ride is bumpy. So request to readjust the hardness of the abs at own cost. But still very bumpy. So, compensate with TTC Urethane Cushion. Now much better. Normaly ride at 140kmh using stock, will not feel much, but with GAB, can feel the road, so avoid me to go much further. Max 190kmh. Very good on uneven road (stable-fast driving) but bad on holes!

can i know how to post picture in here ...
i have gab absorber h/l/s/h to sell for a31:hmmmm:

Hi bencklim, just curious, how's the FC for your car if use petrol?btw, how much you install the NGV kit?looking at the current 2nd hand value now,2nd hand A33 3.0 is really a steal if one can stomach the roadtax...hmmm...but need to look for a real good unit...:burnout:

Hi Blue Diamond,
Previously during petrol Rm 1.92, my Fc was RM 0.26 (highway) and RM 0.30 (town), then when petrol increase to RM 2.70, my FC was RM 0.34 (highway) and RM 0.38 (town). But now seldom use petrol (2 months once Full tank). Most of the time I use gas.
previously I install quite expensive at RM 8,000 cash. now can get cheaper. You want to install can call me at +6017-2517988. i introduce my friend to you.
2nd hand value now is quite low (2002 ~ RM 60~65K).
Using NGv, roadtax reduce by 25%. Road tax is RM 2,100 => RM 1,575

That's the reason I change to NGV. Performance a bit reduce, but i can bear with it.:driver:

Any photo of ur NGV?
I've check a few NGV shop before, some 4K++ & some 7K++ even 1 shop saying NGV not for A32!! So is ur car with NGV ok? any problem so far? I'm thinking of NGV also, just b'coz 1 shop say is no good for A32 so takut now.....
