ong, bobby, mancell.... since u guys have few meeting already.. do u guys evaluate the performance of each other car for the adjustable shocks? few brand had been fitted in u guys car... which one perform better?

thanks.

It's difficult to evaluate and compare...
...it's more on personal likings...whether one wants comfort or performance...
...as for me, I feel that taking corners were better when initially installed n very stiff,...but when it soften a little after settling down, it's not that firm any more...though high speed cruising is always steady n stable...no regrets, money well spent...

So, you can't have best of both world....comfort or performance...one have to decide...

How long did it took for your shocks to settle down? i've got mine installed about 2 weeks & its still hard ... but not as hard as when i first got it installed.

cgui, maybe u got used it liow? :D
anyway...did u know kwangwey's ride is original brougham or converted??
still not decided whether to do the conversion, get bodykits or change to VIP look all round...haiya....

vk, what bobby said its true...very hard to compare coz all also different car right..A33 n A32 have diff weight distribution...
but i tried Dream and Bobby's cars...i really fall in love with the TITAN!!! money well spent!!! now regret didnt buy from peter...
for adjustables, theres a level of comfort there, unlike japanese adjustables which r pure for racing use like dream's TEIN! :D

anyway, mine is more on the soft side comparing to TITAN.

Hmm... that's quite true... it's either u go for comfort(slightly stiffer suspensions) or performance(stiff). for mine, first day i bought mine very hard... after a few weeks... it's still hard... cornering and highway totally awesome. i sacrificed my comfort and go for performance. =P hehe

Hi Guys,
Just wondering....There is a switch beside the automatic gear shift saying "Power A/T Snow" in vertical order. What is it for?
By the way, is there any auto cruise function for these type model of Feilos??
There is no user manual when I bought this car, seems like the previous owner had lost it.
Thanks in advance.
kwangwey...i usethe power button when i wanna do drag...:D
u can actually feel the engine is more powerful n u r able to drag until the redline!

while my guess for the snow button is something like traction control as when its snowing/raining, the road is slippery...so by activating the snow button, our feilo will b safer...hehe...duno true or not...:D

Ong .. as far as i know .. kwangwey's ride is a converted brougham... forgotten how much he spent on it ... u can check with him .. it looks great .... most of the guys would agree...

ok .. power button is get more power ... once activated... u can rev quite hard .. accelerator feels more responsive ... & u can really drag it .. moreover ... when cruising at 100km/h .. when u activate it & step on the accelerator .. u'll first notice that u'll drop to 2nd gear .. then drag till almost 6k rpm & it will upshift .. same goes for 3rd gear till 4th gear .. but when it reaches 4th gear .. u'll run out of road to go full speed .. hehehe tried it before ...

now for snow ... u'll feel a little sluggish .. as power is not fully transfer to the wheels .. therefore its safer during heavy rain or snowing condition .. when u step on the accelerator from still .. the wheels does not spin ... i accidently activated snow & was finding why my feilo suddenly lost its power when i step on the accelerator ..

well hi/lo adjustable does not translate to hard & soft .. its only the spring rate of the shocks will be effected.

if set it to low .. means the springs has a more space to coil & recoil .. its the opposite if set it to high ....

adjusting it to high or low ... does effect the ride height ...

i dont understand... what it means by coil and recoil?

sorry... :hmmmm2:

sorry man .. really sorry that i made u confuse .. hehehe ... well when setting it to low .. it allows increase the spring rate .. wherelse if set to high .. it decreases the spring rate ..

I think it took about 2 weeks for the shocks to settle down...maybe it wasn't really that obvious but it's kinda getting accustomed to the stiffer shocks compare to org...
...my wife was complaining alot after the installation but after a few weeks, she is now very happy with the firm n stable ride...mind you, 2 days ago I was driving my brother's Naza Ria with her beside, and guess what she said??..."why is this car swaying like a boat??"

Once again I can say, kudos for Titan !! :top:

vk..titan is adjustables...TITAN is brand new and it can n b custom to meet ur requirement. best of all, theres after sales service.
while TEIN is a very good product, its very expensive for brand new 1. theres not a official tuner for them as they r brought in by reseller..so the choice its urs...

0123...u should stop browsing zth n concentrate on ur studies...:D :D
hope to c u soon...

bobby...u r makin my car bugs bitting hard...ever since i drive ur car...i fall in love with titan liow..arghh...:D
