no doubt sir, but not much. u can free more horses with cams and tuning, a lot more then throwing the cat out

i doubt a cps goes like a turbo after decat-ing, more like a vtec? lol

I watched a video on youtube about cat con cleaning.
In the video, he just removed it and clean it by submerging it in a pail with laundry detergent.
It works, well at least in the video it did.
There is no cut in the video so i can clearly see the difference.
Before, some of the tiny holes are blocked. After the process its clear of blockage.
I believe power is restored right?

If it does work, what sort of mileage should i do the cleaning process?
In the video he explain that it should be done when the check engine light is up and showing either cat con or lambda sensor error.

Any noticeable experience after decat? Decat with stock exhaust?

I also decat & custom new Y pipe to coupled with BMW performance exhaust & the result is superb....loud backfire every time during downshift with nice singing fellali-like tone while building up the RPM

No noticeable increase in power though but I don't mind as long as it sings nicely

in the youtube dude case,it turned off the check light.

in logic it should work as i dont think the platinum in the metal are damaged when in contact with the detergent.i have an electric gril or sort and the grill is coated with black layer of carbon mixed with fat and what not.i left it submerged in a pail of water mixed with laundry detergent and the stain comes off easily the next morning.
