Automatic Steering belt putus...pls advice

auto steeering belt wa putus masa tengah syok kat highway baru balik tengok NS sevens kat seremban....aleh aleh ketong keting steering belt putus, skru jatuh......mechanic aku kata bole bawak tapi slow melow lah...aku nak tanye otai otai skit...

1. Bahaya tak kalu tak pakai steering belt..belok bole tapi mengalahkan pusing lori balak...hahaha......lain lain belt ok..fuel pressure ok, water and oil temp ok...pick up ok...
2. CAMNEH nak test tension tension and quality of all the belts dalam engine....risau jugak aku nih...nasib baik steering belt putuih...kalu timing belt mencanak aku kalu piston aku langgar head....btw, aku baru tukar engine sebulan jagung....
3. What to do and apa nak change....

PENTING PENTING...Minta tolong advice ya....

got power steering belt meh? as far as i know there are timing belt, aircond belt, and alternator belt only?

i think ur alternator belt snapped la... because u said that ur steering was dem heavy after that. hahaha... been there ,done that on my previous car... u know what? you better change it... it cost only rm20 for the belt and rm20 to change it. if u still drive it by now and not changing it, chances that right now you are at tepi jalan again waiting for tow truck to tow ur car to ur workshop.... coz ur car is depending on ur battery solely and the alternator is not charging it.

just my 2 cents.

Thanks man....i better change asap whatever belt it is...then again how to ensure the other belts are in workable conditions?

yeah man...better fix it soon....unless u wanna use your car as drag machine, run straight onli, then no need power steering....if daily driving with heavy steering, soon gonna develop bicep and tricep just by driving to work everyday...:p .....to check, during engine oil change once the car is lifted, do some visual inspection to see if ther's any crack on the belts....other than that i dunno how to check also....

change already....guess what...power steering belt kaput...main pulley habis...main groove dah flat...aku pun tak tahu camneh belt bole gerak dari seremban ke ampang...nasib nasib....fuihhh...altogether change to ori Type r main pulley, belts, new skru (melayang kat highway)...RM200...funny...dulu aku pakai main pulley ringan for my b20b la ni pakai type r ori main pulley rasa lagi better response...pelik pelikk....hahaha
