there is a carbon on those spring? mine doesnt have andi have arb25det series... thats why the misfiring???

i also read in skyline australia... they put araldite on those coil to prevent misfiring...

i will check the coil again put a carbon.

one more thing... s2 coil are not interchangeable with other coil (rb20, rb25 s1)

nice info bro...

bro for mine i jus replaced my plugs, wat plugs u using? try using colder wans ler....

i am using them now... still the same

check this out...
tried this sunday before a track day....
power all the way upto 7000rpm... no miss fire

we used a 3M rubber tape insulation and 3m vinyl tape... covered everything in the coil except the socket and cooling plate with the rubber tape. stretch it while applying the rubber. then use the vinyl tape for that extra hold for the rubber tape.

cost me less than 10usd

1. remove the coil from the engine...
2. clean the coil
3. remove plaster from 3m rubber tape
4. stretch it while applying the rubber tape. make everything is covered special those hairline crack
5. then use the vinyl tape for that extra hold for the rubber tape.
6. install the coil back the plate

cost me less than 10usd
