i would say the 9835 is a successful upgrade of 9815 but the 9855 was not a successful upgrade of 9835.

due to age i wouldnt rate the 9815 to be better than a new unit of 9835 or 9855.

9855 has 4v pre out, motorized faceplate and bass engine pro
9857 has 2v pre out, flip down face and bass engine only (not pro)

9855 is around 1.9k - 2.2k, 9857 should be around 1.5k-1.8k

9815,9835 & 9855 all the same...for SQ wise almost the same.only the year manufactture & face different...

but i still prefer 9815...& 9835 :P

Where To Find 9835? I Really Really Dont Like Glidetouch. This Year 9857 & 9856 Dont Got Any Glidetouch Is It Bcoz Difficult To Use???

can try shop around...sure they still have 9835.if not,get 2nd set also can maa...but remember 9857 is not the same like 9835,9815 & 9855.
