aircond idling problem ! pls help

hello ,
im drivin a wira 1.6mivec
currently my car is having difficulties while stuck in trafficjem with aircond on.
when the compressor aircond kicks in . the idle would go up as usual . but den when its off the rpm would drop drastically till my car died.
sometimes it juz drop until my rpm around 200-300 ..
in order for me to stay safe .. i have to increase my idlin to 1500rpm ..
really hurting my fuel consumption right now ..

anyone encounter this before ?

does this all cause by faulty throttle body or ISC or stepper motor ?


i already put in FICD . but it only helps when the kompressor kicks in only .
please do help

yeap i even change the FICD twice ..
the problem still occur .
now im driving with my rpm higher around 1500rpm
very killing my fuel consumption .

rite now checking my t/b and stepper motor asap !

what's your alternator volt reading? check that 1st... prolly your alternator is dying.

i had face this trouble also..

what i do is detach my t/b from intake manifold and clean it using petrol,clean the spark plug(if your spark plug seems like to caput just change it)..

i use platinum NGK G-POWER just rm50 for 4pcs..this what i do last time maybe u can try it..

my case is very funny..the installer missconnected the ficd vacumm hose..during that time my car engine always want to die, the aircond not cool eventhough the gas is enough..

nezumi : volt reading is fine .. doin 13.6 to 13.8
angrysnail : just change to a new spark plug on my recent service. But will clean up my t/b soon
afmarsyal : i`ll give the FICD another check !

uhm, check throttle body la, sounds like a common throttle body error..

OR, im not sure about mivec, maybe the same, but i encountered the same problem last time, first thought it was the gearbox, but it turn out to be, one of the few tiny hoses connected to the intake manifold got crack..

zzz.. hahaha.. only found that out after i change gearbox oil.. cibai..

just a slight crack in those hoses may cause this problem as well, cos it is giving inaccurate reading to your ECU..

heres some updates !
went to check at the aircond shop today .

check List :-

a.check aircond hose = OK
b.check aircond compressor wiring and fuse = OK
c.check t/b = OK
d.check FICD = OK
e.check stepper motor = FAULTY / NOT OK

they suspected that my stepper motor is not working edi since part of it under already melt .
so i`ll be changin the stepper motor soon
hope it can solve my problem .
will update about this soon

Sorry for the late update !
i finally managed to find the right time to fix my problem .
Today went to a friend of mine workshop
have them service and clean up my t/b
and change to a used @ good condition stepper motor
now my car is running without any aircond idling problem !
