Adjustable Cam Pulley on 4g93vdo

Hi all,

I have a question here, hope u all can help... i bought a works adjustable cam pulley, last weekend when i want to install the cam pulley, the mechanic said can't because mine is satria gti with siemen ecu. hesaid if install, gonna "kacau" the cam sensor. Is it true?

skywalker - old gti and gti with siemen ecu the cam pulley the same kan? the 1 i bought for 4g93.

they are the same imo

i dont think the vdo ecu can alter mechanical settings, it can adjust the electronics accordingly but up to a certain degree. i think its do-able, pm for more details sir

can be used but cant set max! only a little! if to much will mess the timing! since u bought it already just fix it! if scared anything happen just used back standard setting!

looks better than standard!

bro my advices ah! if ur gti is using vdo system better leave standard! if u really wan to mod! then change the ecu to mmc wan! if not just leave it!

no i have a 1.5 wira wit vdo system!!! it sucks timing messy! fuel very high, no power!

fren gti wit vdo! did so much mod! cant even follow wit mid mod gti wit mmc ecu! his gti when on air timming falls to 600 can feels like dying!!!!! put ficd no diff!

vdo system suck! is a pain to mod wit this system! plus the part are nit cheap! tb standard vdo from proton 700 to 800 hundred!!! if mmc can put s90 already ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!
