I aredy used 2 way radio communication with callsign 9W2SHJ .We call this hobby as a AMATURE RADIO . Its a very interisting hobby to share with u all. Convey massage around town or new frinz from north to south for FREE . No Bill like cellphone . anyone interested or to share d idea...:shades_smile:

Don't you need a license permit to use amature radios in Malaysia? It's illegal if you don't have a license, no?

yes.....u need a license for this. but before u can get a license, you will need to do an exam by MCMC. try to look in their website for more info. www.cmc.gov.my

for info exam will be conduct by MCMC 2 times / year with fees RM50.past the exam then u can apply licence RM24/year from MCMC then u can choose unique callsign like mine 9W2SHJ. that only one in the world.
now I used YAESU FT280 MOBILE UNIT with Diamont ant. I bought last 3 years and used to communicate until now.
Using the radio is very usefull during mobil . Share knowledge about traffic , weather and about personal int. Many class is open to whom interested to passthe exam.. is conduct by MARES log on www.mares.org.my for more info or PM me ...
