Wednesday was sent my vq30 to NGV sequential system. Is almost done just have to do ngv ecu tunning and will get back my ride tomorrow :proud: :proud:
Spend almost 2 months, finally get my ngv system completely. If using NGV horsepower i think loss around 20%-30% but still can climb genting highland la. And the gas consumption city drive RM10 can reach 120KM is RM0.083/1km. Highway drive speed on 100km/h-120km/h RM10 can reach 200KM is RM0.05/1km. I was test on yesterday refill gas to full tank spend RM10, from K.L Kepong all the way to Perak ipoh town. But condition is midnight and without traffic jam.

problem we never see the actual car, so i am not sure if the news are correct or not. maybe they do some cover-up.

From my knowledge that welding gas (i think it call oxy someting) tank also very very reliable as reliable and tough than the ngv cause its steel where nvg tank its aluminum.

yup...... bcoz most of the engineering shop oso got dat oxi tank.... it is really reliable...... most of the explosion happened caused by leakage at the hose..... strange dat it really explode........how does it happens?????

i think the NGV is still safe bcoz countries like GB n OZ r using them commercially. best practice is to check them regularly for leakage n observe the rules & regulation of petrol/ngv station

How many NGVs do already exist?
The CNG technology has already been on the market for many years. Some countries already have a huge number of CNG vehicles - with an increasing tendency. Currently, there are about 4,900,000 CNG cars worldwide. <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=400 border=0><TBODY><TR vAlign=top><TD class=cell_header>

liewsh : so how much total cost of ngv conversion...? im interested too
I spend RM7700 for latest 3rd generation Sequatial gas system + 67L light class fibre tank. But actually u oso can take Mixed Gas system is common using by taxi, this will more cheaper aroud RM4500 + 65L steel tank. but tis system is without ECU to control the gas injection. Is not encourage for V6 engine.

zth'ians,

guys, am having problem. whenever my car idle or in free gear mode (I am driving a manual proton putra), or in between the change of gear, it vibrate a lot. It will vibrate more when I on the headlamps (followed by this weird light electricity sound) during nite time. particularly every loose plastic will vibrate in the car. or say maybe during day time, when i use both the windscreen automatic controller (at the side door), the car will vibrate but it is not as bad...
