Thanks for the compliments.That is when all is in top top condition and without mods. ^_^ 2 years ago already. I didnt drive far or filled up my tank recently. Just pop in RM50 and drive till time to fill up again.

Your FC so good lah..What type of Adjustable Cam Pully installed on your car? This is my best mileage for RM 65 of petrol.

70% CT & 30% Highway + Light footer (Max 2800RPM)
Esso = 245 KM
Primax3 = 230 KM
Shell Super = 180 KM (Jerking like hell during Hi-Rev)


Car = Corolla AE111
Engine = 4AGE 20V BT AUTO
Modified = TRD drop-in Air FIlter + Plug Cable, Denso Iridium IK-22 Plug, VS + Ground Cable, FGK 2.25 S-Flow Muffler, Custom CAI, 15" VR Light Weight Rim + Michelin PP2 195/55/R15 Tires.

cam pulley custom made... setting on pick-up...
try setting back your throttle body cause previous my car only can go 40km=rm10.
dont used ik-22 coz 4age bt only can used denso ik-20 or pk20r11...
i didnt use s-flow muffler.. i try it before but makan minyak lor... i used S-piping only(bend pipe like S).. used original plug cable...

if i drive like you maximum RPM2800 onlymy car can go RM10=65 to 70km

High FC maybe due to Denso Iridium IK-22 (Heat Range 7) too cool and make my engine idling high. Did anyone facing this problem after upgraded to this plug? Now, I remember.. before upgrade standard plug can go 280KM + good low to mild end power and after upgrade can go 200KM + good high end power. Because i am doing multiple upgrade at the same times. Etc 16" Rim, Plug + Cable, and Muffler.

i tried the many so call useless gadget of fuel saver magnet attach/stuck to my fuel rail.. surprisingly.my Fc improved little by little.. day by day.. i never chg my driving styles....

Why would a sparkblug cause fuel consumption to increase? Does it affect the amount of fuel injected into the cylinders?

sparkplug shouldn't be a factor effecting fuel consumption wert.... at least it doesn't make sense to me.

15 rim with 190/50 rubber
50% h/way 50% ct
Fully civilized driving style ( 100% manual mode) - 580km/41 liters (14km/liter)
Mixed driving style (50% power 50% manual mode) -480km/41 liters (11.7km/liter)

I think its good enough for me coz my old engine give lesser that that

Cooler plug may take longer time to heat up the engine. I drive slowly (- 2000RPM) for 4KM and my car is still in fast idle (1100RPM) and oil press still low (VVT still sleeping). Crazy.. I have to replace my IK-22 to other Platinium or iridium plug with Gap 1.1mm + heat range 6. Any recommendation on plug? NGK, Denso, or ...

Hi bro EG9, is your first car AE92 using 20V auto? It's almost same as my car FC now. BTW, I have an idea that since 20V is poor in low end performance and pick-up (<4000rpm), I think one of the possible way to improve the low end performance and FC is add-in some boost during low end rev. So, I am thinking of getting some small turbo boost for the rev at 3000-4000rpm and cut the turbo off whenever it reach more than that setting rev (I heard that the Hilux pickup is using this concept), I have the feeling that it'll improve the low end drivability and overall FC, with the minimum risk of overboost the engine too. What do you guys think???

rm10 can go around 70km...i am using 16 inch rim so is the trip meter cun? after i drive untill the tank almost empty i refill rm10,press the trip meter and go for ctown driving, occasionnal high rev spirited moment..it goes to 60km but my friend says rm10 im my mileage should be around 70-80km..true ka? may i know what's the best fuel for bt between primax 3 or shell?

bro, different fuel company = different FC ? is it true ? honestly , i didn't notice it before ..all i thought that all the fuel company is same (RM 1.92/litre) .heheh... btw, which fuel company is the best ? recently im using Caltex , BHP , PETRONAS , and SHELL...

Talking about blacktop .... just want to know , this type engine got how many model, fren suggest to me says that blacktop 2litre engine can replace unser engine ... is it true...

Blacktop 2 liter is expensive and very rare,i think better u overhaul the engine,keep it stock.If you can find one,i think the price will be 4-5 times the price of your overhaul.
