Subaru might not be fielding their factory team in the WRC anymore, but that does not mean they will not be preparing cars in an impressive manner. Since the 2015 Red Bull Global Rallycross is set to kick off at the end of May, Subaru and Vermont SportsCar had been busy prepping their WRX STi to compete; which is now ready for the world to see.

This black, orange and white Subaru WRX STi will be driven by pro skater Bucky Lasek and joined by teammate Sverre Isachshen and Travis Pastrana. The machine they will be using is far from the street version of the WRX STi as they now have a total of 580-horsepower distributed to all four wheels!

The turbocharged 2.0-liter Boxer engine is mated with a six-speed sequential gearbox built by SADEV, allowing the car to sprint from zerotohundred in just two seconds. It is also fitted with a wide-body setup to fit the METHOD race wheels and the large tires as well. The chassis has also been revised by Vermont SportsCar, changing the centre of gravity as well as adding aerodynamic upgrades and suspension improvements for sharper handling.

The Global Rallycross will begin in May 31 in Florida, and there somewhere in the podium will definitely be one of these cars present!
