Russia had supplied us with quite a number of incredible dash cam footages that somehow matches the movie scenes in Hollywood; from Final Destination’s death-bringing flying debris to the gun-wielding angry mob members. But as if there was not enough variety coming from the largest country in the world for our amusement, the surprise now comes from high above.
Or maybe in this case, “high above” might be a bit too far as what you are about to see is more than fit to appear in a scene of a Cold War-era movie. As this driver was cruising on the Volgograd M21 Highway, he had no clue whatsoever of what he was about to capture on the dash cam that he had mounted in the car. Like mentioned earlier, it came from the skies, so could it be a bird? Or a plane? Or… No, it is never going to be Superman, but it is a plane though.

But not any plane as this one, blasting away at treetop level was a Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer all-weather attack aircraft. Going full blast, this Russian jet could reach speeds of around Mach 1.35, and this is not the sort of training that any air force in the world used to do although the Su-24 was designed to be a low-level attack jet.
Some had speculated that this might have been a prank by the bored daredevil pilots, which some had refuted by pointing out that it is only a fake footage, since the sound of the jet is heard first before the jet itself passes by. Whatever the argument might be, this is undeniably another crazy clip from Russia and would most probably cause some confusion and panic if this were to happen somewhere around the 80’s.
