city or vios? same class..

7 speed IDSI/VTEC city or 1.5 vios?
both are not the newest generation but older 1 version.
base on performance i think city might be leading?
but FC? vios better ar?
and i heard city gearbox got problem?
i personaly likes the city front looks garang and vios are like very simple.
so whats ur comment and suggestion?

if you looking for hp, I can say that Honda City gives you more hp because it is a Vtec powered car.

Honda City:

• Horsepower = 120 PS(88kW) @6,600 RPM
• Torque = 145 Nm(14.8kg-m) @4,800 RPM

Toyota Vios:

• Horsepower = 109 PS (80kW) @6,000 RPM
• Torque = 141 Nm (14.4 kg-m) @4,200 RPM

by the way, Toyota Vios will come out with a new face this year, not sure it is a new facelift or totally new model

Dont forget power to weight ratio for both car...
light weight car perform better even so few hp less.

yup i agree,

my fren own a city 2005.. now when the car is in "D" transmission.. i seems like wont shift gear.. therefore he has to press the steering for shifting gear.. he said few of his fren also experience the same.. city has the look.. but vios is value buy..
