you need to check your bulb physiccaly, H4, H1, 9006, 9005 or what ever model.

you must add relay for installing HID, it's common practice, not to burn your stock wiring if too much load for the HID.

Thanks for the info dude. Whats the pricing like in KL nowadays? Over here its like $300 AUD for a decent good quality kit (RM 888).

Last time I was in KL, prices were like RM1000++ for all in with relays.

Are the prices in KL much better now? If not, then I think I'll just get it here, to save my uncle the trouble.

i bought mine model 9006, RM350, 8000k during promotion, no warranty, come with nice box. i believe it is made in china.

i use until now no prob, previously fixed into my hilux sport light, removed and fixed into my e8 sport light now. about a year already. but usage not very often.

heard that bosch HID is around RM700, not sure though, this one branded better.

hmm... ok. based on pricing in KL, I'm guessing either way it would be better to get it there. The US Model GTS = VRX= 2.0GT right?

If I remember correctly, there was a guy on the US GTS Lancer forums saying the lights were 9006 or 9005 I think. And the Fog's are H11.

If these are same, I guess it's cool. But 8000K, confirm illegal in Aussie. I think only 6000K is cool here.

I got a question though, do you notice any fade in the colour temperature over time? RM350 - RM700 seems ok. I'll get the size when I see the dealer in 2hrs time, then I'll ask my uncle to get one for me.

So you reckon Bosch is damn good?

"fade in the colour temperature" was what many ppl says when the HID was new to the market, that time, only Philip HID was popular. Philips HID cost about RM2400-00 that time, most of them are 6000k. i bought used HID 6000k philips from my friend, H4, cost me RM800-00, i am still using that in my hilux now.

HID is illegal in malaysia now, regardless what colour temp.
however, if the HID is stock, it is not illegal.

Hey bro. Whats the price for Phillips now? Still expensive? I just picked up my car yesterday, pretty good overall. I love the voice recog. Bluetooth! :-)

wow, HID's are illegal now??? damn. I think over here only 6000K's are legal.

Good to hear theres no fade anymore, wouldn't want to spend more $ for nothing. Hopefully I'll find out the size soon. All the sales guys, manager, and technicians at Mitsu didn't know the size! lol

Do not wash your engine bay not good for long run :)

u can wash yr engine bay but not always. send it to wash, 1 time to get rid of all the oil stains and grim, then thereon, wipe it with a damp cloth weekly (if possible), hence you will be able to maintain the cleanliness of your engine bay.
