bro..word of advise..sell the meter with the halfcut cos the VVTi might not be usable if not used together.

i do give the meter in the engine package as well...
forgot to write that down...now updated..

but i just wonder from who u heard / or did u experience anything that u can share with us?
anything to do with the wiring(?)....

from what i know, the meter doesnt affect the variable valve timing system...
because i got frens who put the 1J VVTi onto a beemer 3 series...
without using anything from the 1J meter...

his wire man even combine the Beemer's wiring and 1J wiring..
so that almost 99% of the 3 series's dashboard instrument is working like BMW oem while
engine and ECU is toyota's with the vvti running good...

or if there's any hidden secret behind everything?

Its a manual.
But those stated prefer to go with the engine.
Otherwise, the engine will be "just a metal sitting there"...
