hello guys n sifu2... please help me describe this 4 hu.

Sound Quality being the top priority. So here are the 4 contenders :

1. Clarion DXZ786USB
2. Alpine CDA 9887
3. Pioneer DEH-P80RSII
4. Kenwood KDC -X9006U

Those who have experienced it or who own, could be off great help by describing their experience. It would be great if you'll give them score from 1 to 10 in following category.

Having owned the Pioneer P80 and Alpine 9887 before, my preference for SQ is given to the P80. Price difference is approx. RM400. The P80 sounds smoother but 9887 has more punchy bass. Functions are almost the same. However, I have to give more points on the reliablity of the 9887 since it doesn't come with the automated faceplate mechanism. Changed to the 9887 after the P80 started to give me problem. If u insist on Clarion, u should try at least the 9225, HX-D1 or HX-D2 if u can get hold of one.

9835 not bad, use to play it for quite sometime pair with Alpine F1 status components and Alpine F1 status 4 channels amp. U won't go wrong with this one unless u want to go something higher end like p90,D2, Mx5000 or 9990-E.

7200 MK2. great HU to have.... not much different with 7100... im using 7100. very hard to master the tuning. once u get the way, u be amazed the performance

like that better don waste money on P80, top up a lil bit straight away get D2, p80 is wasting battery power la dude.

btw did u try P80 against 9835 before?

go check out setup with 9835 n p80 do your own comparison before placing down your payment, money don just falls from the sky.
