wow, 80K for an altezza, wtf.... i am stationed in Okinawa and bought my 99' Altezza with a Beams Black Top Dual VVTI 3SGE for right under 7K. The car is emaculant. 80k km. Just now starting to mod the engine. Speaking of which, any suggestions would be most appreciated. As far as my car, with everything stock, the speed limiter shuts it of at 200 kmp but that is only in fourth gear at about 7500 rpm. I still have 5th and 6th gear to play with. by the way gotta love okinawa roads, i raced with a ferrari and stayed with him cause he couldnt get a clear straight away , lol.

Just got back from the express way. I timed my tezza at 7.3 seconds 0-100kph. I am guessing that is not bad considering the estimated is 7.8.

7.3 second on timed 0-100kph is mean when then car stop and move hit 100km on the meter time?

well its 7,000 US Dollars, i dont know if you guys are using different currency.

yeah, i stopped on the express way around 1 or so in the morning and went 0-100kph in 7.3 give or take a couple tenths of a second. did it again tonight and it timed at 7.6

Bump: if its chinese money he was talking about that is roughly 12k US Dollars, which is still 5K more than mine. I guess after export than its about right.

Thats y i bought one here, cause in the states, tezza's are crazy and IS 300 runs about the same you are paying for the tezza. I just got extended here for 2 more years to. the 2JZGTE is on the way from tokyo

Since you are in the US, I have heard about strengthening the stock auto gearbox to 400hp plus in a few specialists in the US.

bearing in mind if you want a tiptronic A650E(i think this is the gearbox for the 2jzge IS300), also the same auto gearbox for an altezza RS200 with 3SGE engine.

The gearbox should fit onto the 2jzgte engine with no problems

what they did was cyro coated (super freeze up the gearbox and all its internal components) but is not cheap tho about USD2500?

unless of course, you prefer a manual. then by all means go for a v161 supra 6 speed.

no i have not got a gearbox yet. i was trying to hunt down a reasonable R154 but no luck yet. which would be better for the 2jzgte: R154 or v161. and i want to go with twin turbo. you know just a little something to get me from point A to point B

the engine came with an automatic, but i have never driven auto and never will. autos are for women, no offense to those of you who prefer it, just not my style.
