hello everybody
anyone know where's the signal come from to adjust the ignition timing of a gen2 campro year 2007?

ignition timing best tune by timing light. but u can try rotating the distributor until it reaches to the specified ignition timing marks for your car.

rotation:
left=advance
right=retard

oo really? sorry dunno 'bout CAMPRO engine.
any other way to DIY it?

ya wat i heard from some fren said campro ignition timing can be adjust from the ecu
but tht's too high tech to diy so anyone know how to do it mechanically?

if not mistaken, its done thru the air intake temp sensor..... find the sensor, alert the voltage (either with resistor) to a certain lower voltage so it can tell the ECU its sensing very cold air thus pushing the ignition timing more advance.... well, i could be wrong, correct me if anyone have any info on this........

if its not running on a distributor, then it shud have a crank angle sensor where u can advance or retard it for ur igntion timing. but remember to always ground ur crank angle sensor before u use the timing gun. else u'll see the timing keep going up n down because ECU making adjustments.

the price getting higher and higher....................
po kai later on.

MSD can adjust it also rite? can create multi sparks like honda i-dsl.

for what wanna adjust timing?
new cars mostly fixed timing edi.
