Sepang International Circuit is about to be abused this weekend, not to say it has never been abused before but this time around, it will be abused by supercars that are out for a greater cause, to rebuild and restore communities ravaged by the recent floods here in Malaysia. The clubs of supercar owners have organized a “thrills at Sepang” event to raise awareness and funds to aid flood victims.

Organized by the Porsche Club Malaysia (PCM) in collaboration with the Ferrari Owners Club (FOC), Lamborghini Owners Club (pending registration) and Force of Nature Aid Foundation (FON) to assist local foundations and non governmental organizations (NGOs) in lending a hand to communities hit by the recent devastating floods.

The caring supercar owners will be contributing their time and cars to be ‘chauffers’ for charitable passengers to experience ‘first hand’ the thrill of lapping the Sepang Internation Circuit with the speed and excitement only supercars can offer. In addition, attendees can experience driving a race tuned Porsche Cayman S under the guidance of a professional instructor.

There are four ride packages available:

There is also a professional training course where drivers will compete to set the fastest time on a slalom course prepared by professional Race Driver Tommy Lee and his team of renowned race instructors. The package which costs RM1,000/PAX includes 4 laps around Sepang with professional instructors from one of the experienced race instructors. As a special prize, the 3 fastest drivers of the Slalom Course will get one F1 ticker each and a model of a Porsche Cayman S from SIDRA.

So spend your Sunday and your money wisely, do your bit your charity and show motorsports can do much more for society than just pollute our world, we can also use it to help people. See you there!

300 is cheap to be able to ride in a car we can never imagine riding in.. well, to most people.. :burnout:

it's kinda sad that ppl are willing to 'donate' RM300 to get a ride in a supercar instead. I bet most ppl wont pay that kind of money to donate if they dont get anything
