Gen2 MIVEC

Can a 1.6 MIVEC head combine with campro engine? Anybody with an answer? I've been thinking about it for sometime..

Campro S4PH engine structure and MMC engine is rather different, don think so it can be combine or "rojak" together... plan to mod ur ride? y dun consider complete mivec engine?

Full transplant means has to go to JPJ, Puspakom and bla bla bla.... If it can be done, just put back the original engine cover and nobody will notice... hehehehe... some might say... put a 'toyol' in the car..

just machine ur campro engine number to ur new mivec la....
n if u really kene big operation.....
just prepared for ur car kene sita....
ok...dats extreme.....

actually convert n send for inspection isnt so troublesome la.....
somemore u can choose MIVEC or GSR for ur gen2.....
its worth considering la....
how oso transplant will giv u a more reliable engine....
rather than rojak here n there....
u might b lucky if no probs la....

anyway...
dun think the campro rojak mivec is workable la....
different base.....

I've looked at campro engine and i've looked at mivec engine.... there's a lot similarities between them... even the shape is the same.. i don't know about the dimension.. still studying them... hehehehe... maybe someday when i've enough money and knowledge, i'll do it.. and one more thing i notice that actually campro is based from mitsubishi engine model..

rojak engine might not perform as well compare to complete transplant .... just my 2cents comment... dun flame me ok?? hehehehe

anyway u hv mentioned campro engine n mivec engine looks the same care to share wif us the photo? hehehehe lazy to go n find it ..

theres no way u can fit a mivec head onto a campro block the oil galeries configuration and the liquid galeries location and size does not match the cylinder bore size for campro itself is rili small cant fit mivec better u transplant no way can fit .Try BOT ur campro got people do it redi proven to produce as much power as mivec engine check it out

theres lotsa stuff we can do 2 upgrade the campro performance try go check out Protech 2 stand alone ecu thread a 4AGZE can become a beast producing 300hp its just a turbo charged 1.6 liter engine.

someday somebody will comes up with a better idea than mine but what the heck... just a peace of my mind... waiting for PROTON's guys releasing the true CAMPRO feels like ages.... When will we see 200++ hp from our CAMPRO engine? we'll never knows

The next big problem is U still need to reconsider is how to use the Mivec short ratio gearbox with your modded campro+mivec blend (if success la)

Current campro gearbox ratio & spec same with waja one. Not really suitable for Mivec ratio.

bro, the gearbox is the same? from which model? the campro based or the mitsubishi based??
