Seeing a Koenigsegg on the roads is not a daily occurrence as to date they have only made 100+ cars so far. But if you really hate to see this car in a condition that it is not meant to be, then we advise you to look away as a Koenigsegg Agera R was heavily damaged in China when it crashed into a guardrail recently.
The incident took place in the city of Chongqing, China, and it looked like the driver was going in a considerable speed judging from the damage done. The poor Agera R not only has its bumper totally torn off, but its rear left tire as well.
There is also a CCTV that managed to record the whole incident but unfortunately it is hard to tell what exactly had caused it due to the camera’s position. Luckily no one was hurt in this incident, though the same could not be said about the driver’s ego.
This is not the first time that an expensive hypercar being involved in a nasty accident as there was one involving a Ferrari LaFerrari back in May and a Porsche 918 Spyder late last year. The Koenigsegg Agera R costs USD 4.18 million in China or RM 17.4 million in our currency, due to the expensive luxury tax.
