After producing a limited run 600 unit for the coupe, Lamborghini had recently announced that they will be making another 500 Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloces only this time they come with a removable roof. And now, automotive photographer Jordan Shiraki is here to give us a first glimpse of how this new topless monster will look like in flesh.
“President and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann confirmed Lamborghini will be producing the Aventador SV Roadster with a limited production run of just 500 units, 100 less than the Aventador SV coupe. Overall stats will be identical to the coupe with the exception of a mere 110 extra pounds for the roadster configuration. The weight gain in minimum due to the extremely rigid carbon monocoque chassis and the removable carbon roof weighing a scant 13lbs,” as stated on his business site.
Also announced on the site are some of the performance figures where the 750PS (740-horsepower) Aventador SV Roadster will do a 0-96km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 356km/h. The V12 engine is mated to a seven-speed ISR transmission which then sends the power to all four wheels via an all-wheel drive system.
This particular example is finished in Blu Glauco and has parts like the diffuser and rear bumper given some contrasting red accents.
