In the virtual automotive world, there are only 2 car games that catches the attention of car makers and car enthusiasts worldwide. In the PlayStation clan, we have the Gran Turismo 5 and in the Xbox 360 clan, there’s Forza Motorsports. The current instalment from the Forza franchise is the ‘Open World’ racing simulator, Forza Horizon. Based around a festival set in imaginary Colorado, USA, they have successfully satisfied many gamers worldwide.
To keep things alive and upbeat until the next Forza Motorsports sim, Turn 10, the developers of the game has allowed the Top Gear team to select 6 cars for gamers to download as a downloadable content to race, cruise and crash in the streets of Colorado. The April Top Gear Car Pack will be the 10th car pack and DLC (downloadable content) made available for the game since its release in October 2012. Here’s the list of cars in the new Top Gear Car Pack:

- 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish
- Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato
- Ford Transit SuperSportVan
- Mercedes-Benz AMG Mercedes CLK GTR
- 2002 BMW M3-GTR (road version)
The cars that has been made available are packing some serious fire power and ultra rare examples like the road-going version of the E46 BMW M3 GTR which is said that only 3 has been made worldwide and the Mercedes CLK GTR which was a LeMans star over a decade ago.
Not to miss out too, cars like the Bowler EXR-S and Aston Martin Vanquish will be making its first virtual appearance on Forza Horizon! The pack will be available from Tuesday, 2nd April 2013 for a shy 400 Microsoft Points. If you are the ultimate Forza enthusiasts like us, you would have probably made a Season Pass purchase for all these downloaded car packs, and will be receiving it for free as part of the Season Pass package.
