Determined to set a new benchmark in the SUV segment, Honda Malaysia recently launched their new HR-V. The Hip & Smart Runabout Vehicle opens up a new segment called the Compact SUV and is developed from the feedback received from customers looking for an affordable SUV that at the same time has a sense of security and status while boasting high usability.

“In Malaysia, the SUV segment has shown significant growth over the years. Back in 2010, the SUV segment was 18,000 units. In just 5 years, it has grown by 74-percent to over 31,000 units with a 4.7-percent market share. Despite this rapid growth, the SUV segment is still dominated by upper SUVs,” said Honda Malaysia President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr Roslan Abdullah.
