Today, SDAP officially opens the new Porsche Centre Kuala Lumpur at 306, Jalan Sungai Besi. Located just minutes from the heart of KL city, the new Porsche Centre is now more easily accessible via Lebuhraya Sungai Besi, North South Expressway, Smart Tunnel. Known as Sime Darby Auto Performance, SDAP is the authorised importer of Porsche cars in Malaysia.
The Building
After a RM16mil investment into the construction of this new, 34,703 sqft state of the art facility, the new Porsche Centre Sungai Besi now reflects the brand’s worldwide corporate image in style. Said to be a prominent addition to the growth of the Porsche brand in Malaysia, it will deliver greater level of customer experience in many new and improved ways.
Showroom and Service
The new showroom area has been designed to display a maximum of 10 Porsches. This new building also incorporates 9 service bay, substantially more than ever, 2 car delivery bays, a spacious After Sales reception area with 2 dialogue bays and a Porsche Tequpment accessories boutique including a dedicated shop for Porsche merchandise. A new customer area dubbed the Carrera Lounge will provide luxurious comfort and conveniences to new and existing customers during their visit.
Porsche Approved Pre-owned Cars
Upstairs at the new Porsche Centre now offers wide selection of the Porsche’s approved pre-owned cars, with each approved used Porsche sold by SDAP to be equipped with a minimum 2 years Approved Pre-Owned warranty. Promising to offer convenience towards their trade-in program for existing Porsche owners when upgrading to their latest offerings.

Porsche Training
Apart from sales and service, the new Porsche Centre Sungai Besi will now house Porsche training facilities focused at their growing technical and sales team. This includes meticulous training process of technicians and sales staffs that are Porsche AG certified. In accordance to Porsche’s global certification standards.
New Targa 4S
To celebrate the opening of the new Porsche Centre, SDAP debuted the latest Type-991 Targa S. One of the most anticipated modern 911s. Summoning the iconic Targa styling of earlier 911s, the legendary Targa styling brings to life a modern classic. A return to the original concept.
The New Targa breathes new life into the seventh generation 911. With its unique characteristics featuring a fixed Targa center bar with an impressive roof concept. Consisting of 2 moving parts, the glass window and a soft top. Initiating the roof mechanism to open or close take a mere 19 seconds.
This dual mode 911 4S is powered by a 3.8L flat six and develops 400hp with a top speed of a blistering 296km/h while ZEROTOHUNDRED comes in a blink at 4.4 seconds through Porsche’s renowned PDK transmission.
New Cayenne
Yet another new Porsche was unveiled today, in a form of their iconic SUV. Promising increased efficiency and improved handling, the New Cayenne posses a sharper physique and ever more inclusion of standard equipment.

- Plus a new world premiere – The Cayenne S E-Hybrid

Porsche 918 Spyder
This has got to be the star of the show. SDAP was generous enough to mobilize the ultra exclusive Porsche’s E-hybrid 918 Spyder for display at their new facility. Located at the first floor of the new Porsche Centre Sungai Besi, with a prime spot at the lounge area.
Details aside, all one needs to know is the 918 Spyder is said to be the future of the Supercar and the fact that it achieved a laptime of 6:57 minutes at the Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit leaves little to doubt.
