Subaru had recently added new versions of their BRZ and WRX STI in the line-up with the Get Series.HyperBlue. Now if you are expecting to see Subaru giving both these cars performance upgrades to stand up from the normal BRZ and WRX STI, unfortunately that is not the case for these special editions.
Anyways, let us look into these Get Series.HyperBlues and see what Subaru had thrown in. For the WRX STI Get Series.HyperBlue, buyers will get Alcantara and leather trim, 18-inch BBS alloy rims, Subaru’s Starlink infotainment system, and a Harman/Kardon audio system as standard. The 2.5-liter turbocharged engine still pushes out 305-horsepower paired to a six-speed manual transmission.
Over to the BRZ, it also gets Alcantara and leather trim for the interior finished with blue stitching as well as blue accents on the dashboard, 17-inch BBS alloys and faux carbon fiber dash accents. Under the hood is still the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 200-horsepower and unlike the WRX STI, one could choose between an auto or manual transmission to go with.
The WRX STI Get Series.HyperBlue will be produced in a limited number of 700 units and only 500 units for the BRZ Get Series.HyperBlue. Pricing will be announced when it is close to its launch later this year.
