Joining in the fest of unveiling new cars, Porsche had brought their new 2015 911 Targa 4S GTS for the world to see. While the name might be quite a lengthy one, at least it does properly describe this new model where the 4 means all-wheel drive and the GTS simply mean that it is sharper and nastier than the standard 911.

The birth of this new model marks the first time that the Stuttgart-based manufacturer is offering a buffed up version of the Targa 911. The 3.8-liter flat-six was tuned to produce 430-horsepower and now has a nicer soundtrack, thanks to the sport exhaust system. The GTS is also equipped with the Sport Chrono package, PASM chassis and the centre-locking wheels lifted from the Turbo.

With those upgrades, the Targa 4S GTS can sprint from zerotohundred in just 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 300km/h. Keeping things at bay are the massive brakes hiding behind those 20-inch wheels.

The interior is bathed in dashed of Alcantara, and the Sports Plus seats will keep the occupants in place when the taps are open. Porsche will start sending the new Targa to customers in late April and will come with a price tag of USD 133,795 (RM 481,327).
