A fan of the Mazda Miata? Then here is a piece of news that might interest you. The current MX-5 Miata has been around since 2005 and Mazda reckons that it is time for a new version to step in. Ready to unveil a new chapter in the roadster’s family tree, the next-generation or also known as the 2016 MX-5 Miata will be making its debut on September 3rd 2014.
Featuring the new Skyactiv chassis which was showcased at the New York Auto Show, the unveiling of this new model will take place at one of the most popular race track in the world; the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The unveiling will take place during an annual Miata enthusiast’s event called the Miatas at Mazda Raceway.
“We’re excited to make this official, to announce that the newest member of the MX-5 Miata family will be arriving soon.
