The 2015 Porsche Carrera GTS has been unveiled, and is available as multiple variants, ranging from the coupe and cabriolet which is either mated to a rear-wheel-drive or a four-wheel-drive drivetrain.
All Carrera GTS models will have the same 3.8L flat-six which makes 430 horses, an increase of 30 hp over the Carrera S. Transmission choices are either a seven speed manual or the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK for short) dual clutch transmission. The Carrera GTS in coupe form can dart from zerotohundred in just 3.8 seconds, while the cabriolet manages at 4.0 seconds. Top speed is rated at 305 km/h (Varies from model to model).
As for the interior, the Porsche Carrera GTS will now feature alcantara trim, leather bucket seats and satellite navigation as standard. Besides that, the Carrera GTS also benefits from Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) adaptive suspension set up which lowers the GTS 10mm compared to the regular Porsche Carrera and Porsche’s Chrono Package. The Carrera GTS also has a sports exhaust set up as standard.
On the outside, the 2015 Porsche Carrera GTS features black alloy wheels as standard, Bi-Xenon headlights and a different front bumper. The exhaust are finished with a dark chrome colour.
