Lexus definitely has a lot of plans for their new RC F, and it will not be limited in participating only the Super GT race series. Ready to take on the other GT3 race cars, Lexus has unveiled their new RC F GT3 Concept which is armed to the teeth to serve its purpose.
This Concept weighs 1,250kg and under the hood lays a modified version of the RC F’s V8 engine, modified to produce a healthy 540-horsepower. Lexus said that they will start testing the race car this year, and the first GT3-compliant race cars will be supplied to race teams starting in 2015.
GT3 race cars are eligible in entering countless races around the world which include the 24 Hours of Nurburgring, the Super Taikyu Endurance and the aforementioned Super GT.
The car now unquestionably screams for attention with those ultra wide wheel arches, huge bonnet scoops, menacing rear diffuser, and the massive rear wing. The car is 4,705mm long, 2,000mm wide and 1,270mm tall.
