Subaru once told the world that they will be unveiling their much-anticipated 2015 WRX at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which is just next week. But if you are just as eager as the hardcore Subaru fans out there, then the internet is your saviour as a couple of pictures have been making its tour around the net, and it does look like the production trim of the new boxer sedan.
If you remember the WRX Concept that they had displayed some time back, this does look like a toned-down, more practical version of the car. Then again, this 2015 WRX still bear the distinctive features of what made it instantly recognizable from the concept. The Concept’s design language of the nose for example is carried on into the production design. It still has the compulsory hood scoop at the center of the hood, and the flared fenders give the WRX its built and muscular looks.
For the time being, we have no idea on what is happening under the hood for both the WRX and WRX STi, which will also be making an appearance at the LA Auto Show. Rumours are stating that a turbocharged version of the updated 2.0-liter boxer engine from the BRZ will be powering the car. The WRX will probably be getting a power output of about 265-horspower and a higher 305-horsepower for the STi.
