It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the withdrawal of our Preve racecar from the S1000KM Race today. Sadly, due to certain technical difficulties, the engine had problems starting before race qualifying.
We’ve spent months monitoring the progress of the car since its inception last June, owned and engineered by TedcoSport, where a new Proton Preve base car was purchased through Proton and had then undergone race conversion.
This included a complete stripping and lightening of the body, integration of the rollcage, engine blue printing plus preps, running on Motec and new wiring, Nitron coilovers, Alcon brakes and even a revised, driving position, moved back with a steering column extension and floor mounted pedals. The works.

The car in our eyes just looked amazing. It all just seems right and if I may say so, it’s perhaps one of the most competitive cars in class. It’s to be one of the only 2 Proton Preves in the S1000KM today. The other being the king, Team Proton R3 headed by Tengku Djan.
A short introduction to our team, Team Zerotohundred / TedcoSport. Lead by Rueben Wong and Andrew Khoo with drivers being Ken Yap, Abu Bakar Fikri, and me. A close group of friends who’ve been perpetually passionate of the game for the longest time.

Derrick, working day and night in Sepang, diagnosing the technicality we’ve been plagued with.
We’ve yet to determine the actual bug, but it is for certain we will not be on the grid this afternoon to race. However, TedcoSport and us are still well represented by 2 other Satria Neos making awesome progress.
So do support us during the race today and do check out our car at Pit #21!
We’d also like to Thank of sponsors, Endow Associates, Elepoint Solutions, 3sixty, Motorsport Playground, Sakura Filters for the contribution thus far and we’ll be looking forward to race in the next MSS next March within the Malaysian F1 GP support race!
Also thanks to Jason and Lawrence from Stand 21 Singapore for delivering my would be race helmet for the race.
