Toyota HILUX Improvement 2012 – Ready for Order-Taking!

Together with the Fortuner, UMW Toyota Motor also made available the Toyota Hilux Improvement 2012 for order-taking, beginning 13th August 2012.

The Hilux is available in two guises – single or double cab, and while the single cab only has a 5-speed manual transmission available; the 3.0G double cab variant only comes with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The choice lies in the 2.5L diesel variant for either a manual or an automatic transmission.

Pricing starts with the entry-level single cab 2.5L variant that’s priced at RM77,300 OTR while the entry-level STD double cab variant will cost you an additional RM10,500 for a final price that climbs from RM87,800 with a manual transmission. It’s the G variant that offers you the choice of getting the Hilux in either a manual (RM96,000) or automatic transmission (RM101,000) with the range topping 3.0G variant bringing the price hike to a close at RM107,267.10 OTR

In terms of colour choices, the single cab only comes in Solid White, while the double cab 2.5L STD and G variants come in Dark Steel Mica, Silver Metallic, Medium Silver Metallic and Solid White. Last but not least, the 3.0L variant only comes in 3 colours – Dark Steel Mica, Silver Metallic and Super White II.

Lousy Toyota..............other makes are launching new models but Toyota is only facelifting or upgrading engines...........and that rear bar has been the same bar since it was launched in 2005 !!!
