Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Peugeot vehicles here in Malaysia, continues with their aggressive expansion, now officially opening their Peugeot Blue Box doors in Khota Bharu, Kelantan and making it the 6th outlet launched in this year alone; following the openings of Peugeot Penang, Peugeot Blue Box Seremban, Peugeot Blue Box Chan Sow Lin, Peugeot Balakong 2S and the main Peugeot Blue Box Glenmarie.
The Peugeot Blue Box is located at Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra in Kota Bharu, where its 3S centre covers an area of 6,500 sq ft with 9 service bays costing Murni Millenia Sdn Bhd an estimated RM1 million to re-equip and update . The original site was only a showroom and has now combined and relocated the service facility that was previously located at Jalan Long Yunus.
Ever since the closure of Peugeot’s previous dealership at end-2008, Murni Millenia – having taken to represent the French brand in Kelantan, has helped to increase sales by “nearly 300% this year” and “are confident that their sales volume in this state will continue to grow,” acording to Dato’ Samson Anand George, COO of Nasim Sdn Bhd.
However, Nasim’s expansion isn’t stopping there, turning their attention back towards the Klang Valley, hinting of another opening to take place before year end. But for 2013, the company will still continue to launch several new outlets, turning their gaze upon Kuala Terengganu, Ampang, Taiping, Old Klang Road in the Klang Valley, Penang, Alor Setar and Batu Pahat.
At current, Peugeot’s sales in Malaysia for this year alone has reached a new record with over 6,000 units sold in as at 30th November, 2012, surpassing 2011’s total sales figure by more than 600 units already. Presently, Peugeot’s most popular model is the 207 followed by the 508, 308 and the all-new 408.
Peugeot vehicles now come with a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage as well as a lifetime 24-hours Peugeot Assistance service and Peugeot Privilege Programme.
