It looks like Nasim Sdn Bhd’s expansion program is in full swing with Peugeot Blue Box recent launches in Penang, Seremban, Balakong and Glanmarie; the list now gets longer with the addition of a new 3S centre – the Peugeot Blue Box Chan Sow Lin, making it the 22nd outlet in the country that’s owned and operated by Sing Huat Premium Sdn Bhd.
The facility spans across 35,00 square feet and required an investment of over RM4 million to complete that says it’s every bit part of the Blue Box identity with 15 service bays, a body and paint shop and the ability to turn around 45 cars per day.
As Dato’ Samson Anand George (3rd from right), Chief Operating Officer of Nasim, puts it: “The Klang Valley is a key market with sales comprising 55% of Peugeot’s total sales in Malaysia. In light of that, Peugeot Blue Box Chan Sow Lin will play a pivotal role in meeting the aftersales needs of our customers in the Klang Valley. With this new 3S centre, we now have a total of 58 service bays in the Klang Valley with the capacity to service up to 3,500 cars a month, which represents a 46% increase from 2011.”
With the new Blue Box Chan Sow Lin newly in the list, it will now be able to serve customers around the Taman Bandaraya, Taman Sri Lempah, Mutiara Seputeh, Jalan Pudu, Kampung Malaysia Tambahan, Cheras, Pandan Perdana, Pudu and Bandar Tasik Selatan areas.
After having sold over 17,000 Peugeots since Nasim took over in 2008, Nasim’s sales have been on the rise and as at end-August 2012, they’ve sold over 4,200 units (an increase of 7%) from the same period in 2011, thanks to their 5-year unlimited mileage warranty we suspect.
In short, it seems that Nasim’s expansion plans are in-line with their sales volume with more openings to come for Kota Damansara, Kuala Terengganu, Ampang, Taiping, Old Klang Road, Penang and Batu Pahat.
